A Hamburg practice built around continuity, not transactions.
Albrecht, Kitta & Co. Vermögensverwaltung GmbH advises families on the structuring, oversight and long-term stewardship of private wealth. This page is provided for general information only.
Independent, deliberately small, and built for the long term.
Albrecht, Kitta & Co. was founded in Hamburg with a simple premise: families with complex, multi-generational wealth are better served by a small, independent practice than by a single institution with products to sell.
We do not manufacture financial products and this website does not offer any paid service. Our role is coordination and oversight — bringing clarity to structures that often span several advisers, banks and jurisdictions.
The firm operates from Stadthausbrücke 8 in Hamburg, within reach of the city's harbour and its long history as a centre of German merchant banking.
Principles that shape every engagement.
Independence first
We are not tied to any bank, insurer or fund provider. Our guidance is not influenced by commissions on products.
Clarity over complexity
Wealth structures accumulate complexity over time. Part of our work is simplifying reporting so families can see the whole picture clearly.
Discretion as standard
Family matters remain private. Confidentiality is treated as a baseline expectation, not an added feature.
Continuity across generations
We plan with the next generation in mind from the outset, not as an afterthought once succession becomes urgent.
A small team of advisers, not a call centre.
Every family works with a consistent, named point of contact who coordinates the wider team around them.
Wealth Advisory
Coordinates investment oversight and reporting across custodian banks and asset managers.
Family Office
Manages consolidated reporting, liquidity planning and day-to-day administrative coordination.
Succession Planning
Works alongside legal and tax counsel on structuring for intergenerational transfer.
Based in Hamburg, working across borders.
Our office sits at Stadthausbrücke 8, in Hamburg's historic Altstadt district, a short walk from the Alster and the city's traditional banking quarter. We work with families and their advisers across Germany and wider Europe.
